C5 LGM Longtube Header Install The headers are a full 32” True Long Tube header that has been dubbed, "The most powerful C5 header on the Planet”! The LS1 and LT1 share the same transmission, however the clutch design is different. The LT1 is a pull design, while the LS1 is a push design. Clutches are not interchangable between these engines.

LS1 to LS6 PCV conversion So many LS1's have oil consumption issues and GM took a stab at fixing it on the LS6. In this article I show you how to convert your LS1 over to the newer LS6 style PCV system. This will require cutting away a small part of your engine block, however, it sounds a lot scarier than it actually is. This mod can be done for about $65 in parts. LS1 Head Swap Finally I dug in and did a headswap on an LS1. This turned out to be VERY easy, but a lot of work. I strongly recommend you have a helper during this install, and all the recommended tools listed on the page. Anybody that can turn a wrench (and not get frustrated when something goes wrong) can do this install no problem. Infopic: Valve spring swap

This photo illustrates how to change a valve spring with an LS1 head still installed on the engine. An air hose is run to the spark plug hole to keep the cylinder full of air, which in turn holds up the valves so they don't fall when you try to compress the spring. The spring shown is probably the hardest spring to change on an F-body. Click for full image

Oil Pump Swap Instructions on changing our your oil pump. This is good for 98-00 cars to do as it seems GM gave a few of us oil pumps that will randomly die.
